About Foundation 51

Foundation 51 was created in 1998 by residents of Cumberland and North Yarmouth, Maine, for the purpose of directing private charitable resources toward the enrichment of educational opportunities for students in Maine School Administrative District 51. To date, the Foundation has funded more than $206,000 in school activities, learning programs, and supplies to the local Cumberland-North Yarmouth schools.

Many Greely High students have access to computers at home – do they really need computers in the classroom? The answer is a resounding “yes” by those in the Greely South Wing community, which has received 12 laptop computers from two grants from Foundation 51.
